Aaron Belz is a PhD candidate in English Literature at St. Louis University. His poetry has appeared in Boston Review, McSweeney’s, Painted Bride Quarterly, Jacket, Fence, and the Verse Press Younger American Poets anthology. A full-length manuscript, A Place Where Things Are, was shortlisted for University of Wisconsin’s Brittingham Poetry Prize. His poetry chapbook Plausible Words was published in 2005.
